Bio & CV

I'm a PhD candidate in Economics at Harvard University. My research and teaching interests are in Industrial Organization and International Economics. I'm especially interested in transportation and its effect on the spatial distribution of economic activity. I'll go on the market on the 2023/24 academic year. In my job market paper, I develop a methodology to estimate the cost function of a freight railroad and use it to analyze the network spillovers of infrastructure investment, the efficiency gains from a merger, and the effect of international demand shocks on domestic freight costs.

I hold a BA in Economics from Universidad Nacional de Cordoba and an MA in Economics from CEMFI.

I was born in Argentina, and I spend my free time reading US history, playing boardgames, and attending to the every whim of my 3-year-old cat Freyja (pictured below).
